These quality Australian designed trikes are a popular Australian trike (though most models are made in Taiwan now).

Flying Furniture offers the complete range of Greenspeed trikes - from the GTT tandem trike to their lightest and fastest, the new SLR and the GT3 (new GT3 series II), GT5, X3 and X5 FOLDING trikes in between. You can test ride a good sample range of Greenspeeds beside the other trikes here for test rides like the new $1790 Tadpole Sports trike, the $1990 WizWheelz, CATRIKES, Trikes from HPVelotechnik and Inspired Cycle Engineering (ICE Q) and then choose for yourself which suits you best.

The Greenspeed range are all made from cromly steel alloy - this is a heavier but tough frame material and the seats are made of a cool mesh which also allows a compliant, rider friendly ride on most bitumen (and even on many gravel roads on the trikes with 20"ie 406mm wheels.)

The Greenspeed trike range starts at the GT3 Series II at just $2950 (with FREE delivery to Australian capital cities and many regional centres across the country. ACT / Canberra residents get two free wheel alignment checks and first year service free). It is important that you get your Greenspeed's wheel alignment checked every 6 months - the kingpin AND handlebar brass bushings wear and poor wheel alignment means extra tyre wear and extra effort.

Specifications of the Greenspeed GT3: The multi purpose FOLDING Greenspeed:

With the easy folding procedure (1 to 2 minutes from riding to driving with the GT3 folded into a large car's boot) the GT3 was the most popular model from Greenspeed in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

The GT3 has 27 wide range gears so with Arkel panniers fitted you can even take it touring on sealed roads around Australia - the frame is rated for up to 120kg of rider and luggage so you can be confident it will carry you the distance. The compact size and fast accelerating 16" wheelsize means it is a spritely ride and good fun too.

Specifications of the GREENSPEED GT5: A step up from the GT3 but it still folds!

The GT5 series II is Greenspeed's disk brake equipped folding trike - with the same rugged frame and comfortable ergo seat as the GT3, some of the components have been upgraded to Shimano 105 to save some weight and braking improved by adding powerful hydraulic disk brakes - this is great news for the heavier rider and the tourist carrying a lot of luggage. The disk brakes work a treat!

And now there are the racier X3 and X5 models - these have a racier more reclined 30 degree seat angle and are slightly lighter than the GT3 and GT5 - the X5 is around 16kg:
