The HPVelotechnik GRASSHOPPER
with above or below seat steering

The HPVelotechnik GRASSHOPPER is available in both above seat or below seat steering versions. HPVelotechnik is one of the most trusted touring recumbent brands - and beautifully engineered. The Grasshopper and the new Streetmachine GTe extend the reputation of HPVelotechnik to lighter weight touring bikes - these new models are much lighter and more easily pedalled than the old model Streetmachine - a significant improvement yet they still carry the same 10 year frame durability guarantee.

The plush dual suspension of the HPvelotechnik machines copes easily with rough outback Australian roads. The bikes can be fitted with the excellent Euro style sidebag pannier system which works to keep the load centred on the bike and does not affect the suspension movement or 4 standard panniers can also be easily fitted to the GRASSHOPPER if you already own panniers - two on the rear rack and two under the seat on an additional rack - your luggage also travels in suspended comfort.

A convenient mirror on the handlebars allows a good view of the road behind.
