The BACCHETTAs are among the best quality, best value AND best climbers in the recumbent scene and actually climb better than many lighter bikes - hence the many recumbent road racing victories - due to their easy rolling larger wheels on race models but most importantly just the straight "ovalised/egg shape profile" very very efficient main frame tube design which transfers most efficiently the leg power to the rear drive wheel. BACCHETTAs don’t have suspension but they are very very well designed and the standard “RECURVE” and “EUROMESH” seats are extremely comfortable, well padded and work to soak up the road vibrations – almost a suspended ride without the extra cost, extra weight and extra complexity.
